Procedures

  1. The applicant visits Health Institutions Licensing Department and submits a quotation of the hospital stays and health services provided by the hospital. The Department will then review the quotation and the enclosed documents, approve them, if complete, and true. 
  2. The register of Health Professions and Institutions Licensing Directorate will review, document the submitted papers, and assign them with an incoming entry number. 
  3. The registered transaction will be forwarded, first, to the Director of Health Professions and Institutions Licensing Directorate for review, and then to the Health Institutions Licensing Department to prepare a comparative quotation. 
  4. The Private Hospitals Committee will meet, every Wednesday per week, to study the transaction and finally approve the prices while taking into consideration the comparative prices.
  5. The applicant will receive the approval letter signed by the Minister of Health attached with the list of prices approved by the Committee.
